LIU XIAOHUI 刘晓辉
1975 born in China
Liu Xiaohui graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Murals at China’s Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) in 1990, and earned a master’s degree in 2010. He currently lives in Beijing and teaches in the Department of Murals at CAFA. Liu is a painter who uses his personal history and observations of daily life for subject matter and narrative. He records seemingly mundane events and tells such stories on canvas and paper.
