"Art market forecasters would do well to pay attention to yesterday’s auction of modern and contemporary African art at Sotheby’s London. The fourth such sale by the auction house generated a total of £2.3 million ($3 million), just above the pre-sale estimate of £1.5 million to £2.2 million. "
